About Us

"What kind of a Church are we"

We are a Bible believing church, that is, we believe that all of the Bible is true.

We believe that the book of Acts did not end with chapter 28, but this same church continues on today.

We are interdenominational, that is, we welcome any Bible believing Christian regardless of his or her denomination. Of course, we are also eager to share with anyone who desires to know more about the Christian faith.

We are a church that believes that God is Love, and look for opportunities to share the love and forgiveness which are found in Jesus Christ.

History

ICF Church , one of the largest churches in Hokkaido, was formed in July of 1990, under the loving leadership of Pastor Jerry Jantzen (U.S.A). Initially, It was comprised of three people: the Pastor, his wife and one believer, who received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the kitchen of the pastor's home.

17 years later, attendance has grown to a regular 230 people per service, and it continues to grow. New souls added every week, baptisms every month, healings and miracles.

ICF presently has three branch churches in hokkaido which are overseen by the Pastor and the leaders of ICF; Hobetsu Christ Church (in the Hidaka Area), Iwamizawa Zion-Christ Church (between Sapporo and Asahikawa) and Otaru Bethel Church (Sea side and port Area)

Based at the West Ward of Miyanosawa, adjacent to the Consadole Sapporo Football Ground, ICF is a vibrant congregation of believers who love the Lord with a passion, and long to see the entire nation come to salvation, and to that end the Church continues to intercede before God's throne of Grace.

Vision of ICF Church

I will pray for Revival in this Church and in this Nation.

I will study the Scriptures so I in turn might teach and help others.

I will try to live my life in such a way, that it will bring glory to Jesus Christ.
